With the launch of the new Bartender® Grips, Ambit delivers the final piece of its cohesive cockpit system. The young component brand from Oberammergau, Germany, is once again combining functional precision with a clear design identity. Developed by Ambit and manufactured by ODI in California – one of the world’s most respected names in grip technology – this product sets a new benchmark in both feel and finish.
“We reimagined the cockpit from scratch, and the Bartender® Grips mark the completion of that development process,” says Swen Lauer, Head of Engineering at Ambit. “Collaborating with ODI isn’t just a quality guarantee – it also reflects the standards we set for our own products.”
Since launching the Bartender® GC Carbon Handlebar and Bartender® Stem, Ambit has followed a cockpit philosophy that emphasizes integration, tactile control and visual consistency. With the new grips, that system is now complete – both technically and aesthetically.
The Bartender® Grips are designed to match the geometry and design language of the existing components. Two interlocking grip textures deliver a precise, direct ride feel and optimal control in every situation. The fine outer ridges are engineered to provide maximum grip and trail feedback – even without gloves, and even in wet or highly technical conditions.
Combining Ambit’s design ethos with ODI’s manufacturing excellence has resulted in more than just another cockpit add-on. The Bartender® Grips are the final connection between rider, bike and trail.
The grips feature a lock-on system and are available in four color options: Black, Gum, Grey and Purple/Oilslick.
