SPORT IMPORT BECOMES DISTRIBUTOR FOR SRAM GROUP BRANDS IN POLAND

Sport Import is expanding its European footprint and is responsible for distributing SRAM Group brands in Poland as of 1 January 2026. The portfolio includes SRAM, RockShox, Zipp, TIME, Truvativ and Hammerhead. For the German-based distributor, this milestone marks a consistent continuation of its European strategy and underlines SRAM’s longstanding confidence in the partnership:

„We are excited to see the strong growth and increased demand for our brands in Poland. To better serve this market and unlock its full potential, we are expanding our distribution network by welcoming Sport Import as an additional distributor. Sport Import will invest in local infrastructure and build a dedicated team to ensure Polish dealers receive the same service and support Sport Import is known for in other markets.

Our current SRAM Distributor Aspire remains a trusted partner in Poland, reinforcing our multi-distribution strategy in key markets. This approach allows us to deliver greater choice, strengthen dealer relationships, and create a foundation for sustainable growth.” — Tibor Gijssen, Director of Aftermarket Sales EMEA

Sport Import has been the official distributor for RockShox since 1992, for SRAM since 2002 and for Zipp since 2009. The decision to expand the distribution mandate to Poland builds on decades of collaboration and reflects the development of a trusted and steadily growing partnership. Most recently, SRAM recognised Sport Import with the “Best RockShox Distributor” and “Best Zipp Distributor” awards.

Poland is one of the most dynamic cycling markets in Europe. A rapidly growing performance community, strong MTB and road segments and an extensive dealer landscape make the market highly attractive. The new distribution responsibility further strengthens Sport Import’s position as one of SRAM’s leading European partners — and expands the company’s SRAM distribution network to six European countries.

“Our distribution rights for SRAM’s brand portfolio have evolved organically and with great trust over several decades. Taking on responsibility for Poland is another joint step that shows how well our strengths align: technical depth, market knowledge and a clear focus on performance. With brands such as SRAM, Zipp and RockShox – and with Pirelli as an important recent addition to our portfolio – we offer a particularly strong setup for the Polish market. We look forward to supporting retailers with the same quality standards that SRAM partners in other European markets already appreciate,” says Alexander Reinfeld, Managing Director and owner of Sport Import.

The launch of SRAM distribution in Poland — a market where Sport Import has been active for many years — gives retailers direct access to the SRAM brands, supported by structures that have proven themselves across Europe for decades. The awards for “Best RockShox Distributor” and “Best Zipp Distributor” highlight Sport Import’s exceptional responsiveness and its technical expertise with advanced products such as the Flight Attendant electronic suspension system, which no other distributor has brought to market with similar success. As Europe’s largest Zipp distributor, the company also contributes substantial experience in the performance wheel segment.

From 2026 onwards, Polish retailers will benefit from a reliable, knowledgeable and efficiently organised route to SRAM Group brands. High product availability and well-defined processes form the foundation, supported by a Polish-speaking back office and an active field sales team for personal day-to-day assistence. Modern ordering tools and a localised Polish webshop are available to retailers from day one.

With distribution responsibility in Poland, Sport Import continues its European growth trajectory. The company already supplies more than 4,700 retailers across Europe and further strengthens its role as an international distributor in the performance and P&A segment.
